Reviewer Guidelines

Jurnal Manajemen & Bisnis (JUMANIS) is an international open-access peer-reviewed journal aimed at facilitating a better understanding of research-based management sciences among academicians and study analysts, thereby making a positive contribution and impact in the field of management sciences.

Submitted articles will first be reviewed by the editors to determine whether the manuscript complies with JUMANIS author guidelines. Articles that conform to the journal template will then be reviewed by peer reviewers. The final decision on article acceptance is made by the editors based on recommendations from the reviewers.

In general, potential reviewers are selected based on their reputation in terms of the number and quality of national publications. The editor will then send an invitation letter to each prospective reviewer. Once the reviewers confirm their willingness to review, the editor will create an account for each reviewer and send the manuscript through OJS.

To determine originality and suitability for the journal, is there more than 20% plagiarism in the paper? A quick literature search can be conducted using specific tools such as Scopus or Sinta to check for similarities with other works.

Peer reviewers are responsible for evaluating the manuscript by reading and assessing it within their field of expertise, providing constructive suggestions, and offering honest feedback to the authors. Reviewers discuss the strengths and weaknesses of the article, suggest ways to improve its quality and clarity, assess the novelty of the submitted paper, determine its suitability within the journal's scope, evaluate its contribution to knowledge, and review its relevance and originality.
